Operation Mincemeat, the true story of "The Man Who Never Was" who helped trick Hitler and assist the Allies invasion of southern Europe, will be screened on Sunday 18th September.

The Duke tells the true story of the theft of the Goya painting of the Duke of Wellington. With Jim Broadbent and Helen Mirren the film will be screened on Sunday 21st August at The New Royalty Cinema. This film is very popular, if you cant get tickets online they will be available on the door.

The annual Lace and Craft day will be held this year on Saturday 6th August between 10am and 4pm. Anyone who is interested in lace or craft are welcome. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded people, have a natter and work on your latest project. Tea, coffee, biscuits and cake are provided but you will need to bring your own lunch.

Salmon Fishing in The Yemen is a very British film with all the gentle humour irony and brilliant acting you would expect and will be screened on Sunday 31st July at The New Royalty Cinema. Due to the expected high temperatures on 17th July the screening has been rescheduled to the 31st July. Ticket holders will be contacted.
