Old Photographs - their care and conservation. With pollution and modern materials, our photographs are at an increasing risk. In this talk Tom Doig considers how they should be stored, and methods of ‘safe’ display.
Tom will also take a brief look at the vulnerability of audio and video recordings and suggest strategies for their preservation.
This is a talk run by the Buckinghamshire Family History Society on Tuesday 13th August 2019 in the Eghams Room at Bourne End Community Centre starting at 19:45 (doors open 19:30). Tea and coffee are available after the talk with time to mingle and chat.
