We currently offer 9 different sports – Badminton, Basketball, Canoeing Climbing, Football, Inline Hockey, Swimming and Table Tennis. All abilities are welcome from beginners upwards. Ages range from 5 to 18+ years and vary with the different sports.
Bourne End Twinning Association 0
Bourne End Twinning Association was formed in 2003 when we set up a link with a delightful village near Le Havre called Octeville sur mer. Each year we exchange visits for a long weekend alternating between the two villages. Language is never a problem as sign language, dictionaries and a good sense of humour are all that are needed. However, for those members who do wish to ‘brush up’ on their French we have friendly relaxed classes available. The weekends are always good fun with an excellent balance between organised day trips and time spent in the homes of our ‘counterparts’. Many lifelong friendships have been formed over the years and often members from both villages spend time together apart from the official ‘twinning’ weekends
In between visits we hold a variety of fund raising events here in Bourne End throughout the year, such as barn dances, garden party and meals together; the profits from these cover costs of excersions and events when our Octeville friends visit us - a favour amply returned when we visit them. Our members from Bourne End and the surrounding district enjoy our local events when the camaraderie is palpable. We also have a thriving choir who entertain locally at Christmas and we are able to enjoy their talents at some of our events during the year

Ladies Wedmorn Badminton 0
We meet every Wednesday morning during term time from 9am to 12 midday at the Community Centre. We are a sociable group and with just one court there is plenty of time for coffee and chatter. At present we have a full membership but this can change anytime and we do require new members to have some playing experience.
Marlow Maidenhead Passengers Association 0
MMPA exists to support and encourage users of the branch line from Marlow to Maidenhead. We do this by making our members’ complaints and suggestions known to Great Western Railway, the operator of the service, with whom we have regular meetings at all levels of seniority up to the Group Managing Director.
Originally founded when there were concerns that the remainder of the former High Wycombe to Maidenhead line might be closed (the High Wycombe to Bourne End section was shut in 1970) it remains a long-term aspiration to see the closed section re-opened. We continue to monitor High Wycombe station on the Chiltern line and also Taplow on the Paddington line.
Membership is £5 p.a. for which you will receive a quarterly newsletter and (should you so desire) all local timetables when issued.

We also arrange two or three day trips each year.
New members are welcome, although at this time we have a short waiting list. It is hoped that in due course new members will be willing to serve on the committee as the club cannot function without one.
