Weatherman Ian Currie talks about 1000 years of famous winters including the freezing of the River Thames and the remarkable events that took place on the ice.
Ian is a full-time weatherman, broadcaster, author, columnist, speaker and editor of Weather eye magazine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Meteorological Society. Listen to him on BBC Radio Surrey and Sussex giving forecasts to gardeners and growers. Ian correctly forecast the October 1987 storm.
