1940 Invasion of Britain thumbnail

Tony Eaton has a special interest in unravelling the unresolved mysteries of WW2, particularly where the authorities are still refusing to open up files. In June 1940, the Germans seemed ready to invade and defeat Britain.

But is that how it would have been? Now most historians agree that a German victory was by no means certain and that Hitler knew if 'Operation Sea Lion' had gone ahead as planned, it would have been an unmitigated disaster. Tony Eaton separates fact from fiction.

If you enjoyed Tony's talk about Rudolph Hess in November 2017, you'll enjoy this.
