Bourne End Community Centre is now a collection point for the One Can food bank.

Since 2011 One Can Trust has operated a foodbank based in High Wycombe, serving the town and the wider area of South Buckinghamshire. They work with local organisations, including Bucks Council and housing associations, to provide weekly food parcels to those who need help. They have seen a huge increase in requests for support due to the cost of living crisis. In addition to providing food for households who are struggling, they offer advice and support to help families tackle the causes of their financial difficulty.

Below are examples of the types of food that they can and cannot accept

Can accept tins of
meat meals, ham, corned beef, fish including oily fish, potatoes and vegetables, fruit, soup

Can accept other items

Cannot accept
alcohol, homemade food, opened packets, out of date food, refridgerated or frozen food.

If you have any suitable items please place them in the collection basket at the Community Centre.
