Make a note of the date – it’s Friday 6 December – and TV personality Lorraine Kelly with Angus her dog will be switching on the new light for this year. Fun Night starts at 5pm with the Childrens' light being switched on at 5.15pm outside the Community Centre.
All around the centre of the village you’ll find the Fun Night message. Everyone will be involved and everywhere you look someone will be doing something to be part of the occasion. Hope for good weather and spend your time outdoors, under the village lights, and just enjoying the experience.
Parking will be free in the Wakeman Road car park – courtesy of Wooburn and Bourne End Parish Council. Attractions include Reindeer, Brass Band Festive Music, Fun Fair Rides, Late Night Shopping, Mulled Wine and a tombola.
This is followed by a screening of Airplane!, often voted the funniest film of all time at The New Royalty Cinema at 20:00.
