The first talk by the Bourne End Bucks One Place Study Society will be on the History of Shortlands on 15th August at the Community Centre.
Arthur Shortlands was Bourne End's very own departments store and was on The Parade for almost 100 years. This talk about the store's history will be given by John Shortland.
The talk will be at 19:45 (doors open at 19:30)
This talk is free for BEBOPSS members (no ticket required) and tickets are £4 for non-members.
