20200211 BFHS FMP 100pxFindmypast is one of the major genealogical data services in the UK and has played a significant role in digitising records. This talk will provide an overview of the wide range of Findmypast's records

These include civil registration indexes, the censuses, occupational records, passenger lists, and military records. We will look at the best ways to select and search record sets, explore some of the foibles of the search facilities, and look at ways of dealing with search problems. Finally we will look at issues of support: how well Findmypast documents what each record set holds and how it deals with transcription errors.
